Frequently Asked Questions

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine that originated in China thousands of years ago. It involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the body's natural healing processes.

What should I expect during an acupuncture session?

During an acupuncture session, you will lie down comfortably while the practitioner inserts thin needles into specific points on your body. You may feel a slight sensation, but the treatment is generally painless. The needles will be left in place for about 20-30 minutes while you relax. We also have other treatment method available depending on different conditions, such as cupping, moxa or scrapping.

Is acupuncture safe?

Yes, acupuncture is generally considered safe when performed by a licensed and trained practitioner. The needles used are sterile and disposable, and practitioners follow strict hygienic procedures to ensure your safety.

Can you lodge ACC claim here?

Yes, If you have had an accident and wish to apply for ACC we can help you with all the paperwork, and lodge the claim here at the clinic. If you are unsure if your complaint comes under ACC then do not hesitate to contact us to find out more.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of sessions needed depends on your individual condition and goals. Some people may experience relief after just one session, while others may require several treatments to achieve the desired results.

How should I prepare for my acupuncture session?

Wear loose, comfortable clothing and avoid eating a large meal or drinking caffeine before your appointment. It's also helpful to inform your practitioner about any health concerns or issues you may have.
